Tank Production and Fighting

The production and fighting of tanks go hand in hand, if your in a fight, something like 60 tanks versus 85 tanks is not exactly helpful. Getting as many tanks as you can is what wins early fights. When later in the game, be sure to get the Factory mods, because that will obviously help produce the tanks faster.

When fighting someone, there are huge factors that can decide victory or defeat. One of the largest is how you attack, by that I mean, if you gather your tanks into a small group, or if they are spread out when you attack, (Which is considered a Line). The two reasons for this is if the tanks are spread out, not all tanks will be firing when you approach the enemy, so in a simple explanation, although you both may be maxed, your being out numbered in firepower. Also when your attacking as a group, your tanks will fire at a fewer number of tanks, meaning more damage and quicker destruction of the tanks you are shooting at, which can help give you an advantage in the number of tanks.

Next is where you attack, do you attack where you are going against the majority, or do you attack the weaker part (where tanks are spread out a little) picking off some tanks. This is commonly the Back end. A quick lead in the number of tanks can be very helpful in a fight.

(coyote25 observation - actually either flank (side) can be attacked as most units are in the mid portions of any battle - being careful to watch what your opponent does when attacked - for example - wheel around center point enveloping first one side then the other - classic tank / infantry strategy - is called attempting to out flank superior force - who gets there first may carry the battle.)

Next is Decoying, simply having your enemy shoot at something different other than your tanks, while you shoot at him. This should be obvious why its an advantage. Similar to decoying, its Location, On team war there are 7 mountains to fight at, fighting at mountains can be strategically useful if you want to quickly demolish your enemy's tanks, as well as save some of your own. If your enemy is coming at, or chasing you, be on one side of the mountain and basically wait for him, being just a little away from the mountain, then when he is JUST approaching the mountain, turn around and come at him, if done correctly, (depending on how smart your enemy is) he should have just gone around the mountain not giving it a thought, but because he just went by it, his tanks should have been spread out, some on one side some on the other. Just like I said with other things, go for the weaker side and just attack. He cannot shoot though the mountain so a lot of his tanks will be useless for a while, giving you not only an advantage against those few tanks, but with that group of tanks that wont be able to fire. The other thing to remember when it comes to location, is for defense and artillery. Why should you need to only use the attacking power of your tanks to fight the enemy, lure him near your defense or just inside the range of your artillery, and let him get shot by that also, the combined firepower will be able to destroy tanks giving you a nice lead over him.

The final two things to remember are to research, and to consider what types of tanks you and your enemy are using. Obviously you want to research to a weapon that's stronger then the others, and also for whatever weapon your using, get all the mods you can for it and the tank itself. Tank Body mods to make it stronger, Weapon mods to make it more dangerous, and new weapons to inflict new kinds of damage onto your opponent. But to always know what your enemy is using for tanks, if your tanks can compete with his tanks, giving you a chance to win a fight, then good for you and keep up the good work, but if they cant, and they would just get destroyed, well start researching and get some stronger tanks out that can compete, its pointless to do something like Heavy Cannon against Gauss, its just suicide. As well with knowing tank weapons, realize the advantages and disadvantages of the tank itself, like for example Heavy Cannon Tracks are slow, so to be able to use that knowledge in a fight will be to your advantage.
