Router
Ports......

Is there yet a definitive answer for which port(s) to forward to allow a TCP/IP
game of WZ2100?? I have seen the posts that deal with gamespy arcade's ports,
but I don't want to use GSA.
So again..... is there a port(s) to forward to allow WZ2100 to work from behind
a router????

I forward port 9998-10000 on my router (NetGear RP614), and a friend who is
behind a Lynksis was able to join and play with no problems.
The conditions were that I copied the content of my WZ disk #1, then zipped it
and uploaded it to my server. I then uploaded the 1.10 patch and the 1.10 cd
crack. My friend d/l'ed everything and installed with no problems, and
everything worked great.
I did have to click "Unblock" on XP's firewall, and my friend uses Zone Alarm,
so he had to allow WZ and that port. But all worked well!!
I don't know if I needed to forward 3 ports, that is just something I normally
do for most games. BTW.... the ports were both TCP and UDP.

BTW... both of us were running WZ on WinXP Pro SP2. Both are 64 bit systems with
1gig of DDR and Raptor HDD's, and VERY powerful G-Cards.
